Who We Serve

Grades 9-12

Identifying Mastery

Focus: Strategic academic advising, self-observation, and aligning coursework with a student’s craft and societal need. Students learn to apply portable skills to a specific craft: uniquely practicing a special gift, talent or ability. With guidance, they move from generalists to adaptable specialists.

The Craft Lab

What each student gains:
Executive functioning coaching is the foundation that helps students build the skills they need to learn with confidence, stay organized, and take meaningful ownership of their academic journey. These skills are developed through guidance, practice, and consistent support. Students will receive structured strategies for planning, time management, emotional regulation, and follow through. The EF coach becomes a steady anchor, helping students break tasks into manageable steps, create routines that reduce stress, and strengthen habits that make learning feel manageable rather than overwhelming. Executive functioning coaching doesn’t just improve school performance, it will shape a student’s future by building independence, resilience, and the confidence to navigate college, careers, and life with clarity and purpose.
College advising is much more than the application process. It is a pivotal time for students to thoughtfully explore their academic and career interests, develop a plan, and organize next steps that lead to meaningful and aligned opportunities. Students will gain individualized support with college exploration, building a balanced college list, selecting a college major, crafting compelling essays, developing a strategic testing plan, and creating strong resumes. Ultimately, students will have college options that best fit their academic, social, and professional aspirations.

Every student deserves more than guidance; they deserve someone who empathizes with their story, recognizes their potential, and walks alongside them with purpose. Personalized stewardship equips young people with the character, confidence, and critical thinking skills to make wise decisions long after they leave the classroom. This creates leaders who are prepared for life, not just the next milestone. At Game Plan Education Group, we believe meaningful relationships drastically change trajectories because every student is seen, valued, and challenged to become the best version of themselves. This is stewardship personified.

Why The Craft Lab is Best Fit for Middle & High School

Shifts focus toward deep technical refinement, strategic coursework alignment, and portfolio-building—equipping high schoolers to hone a distinct skill set that sets them apart in college admissions and career pathways.
Middle and high school are the critical years where student engagement often drops if learning feels abstract. The Craft Lab keeps students invested by helping them master a concrete “craft”—a unique, highly developed practice supported by expert stewardship.
Rather than teaching static tools, the lab emphasizes universal competencies—strategic planning, self-regulation, complex problem-solving, and adaptive thinking—that apply across academic disciplines and future industries.
